Cedar & Row was founded by Charleston locals Jonah Butler and Walker Burts, two craftsmen brought together by a shared appreciation for good materials, thoughtful details, and the satisfaction of building something that lasts.
Together, they bring years of practical experience and an approach that values skill earned at the workbench. As Charleston natives, they also have a particular appreciation for the character of Lowcountry homes—the quirks, craftsmanship, and history that make each one different. Whether they’re creating a custom built-in, a piece of furniture, or something entirely one-of-a-kind, their goal is simple: make it well, make it thoughtfully, and make it worth keeping.
